THE SPIDER GAME

This week we played the SPIDER GAME with our children in first grade. This is one of  our favourite games because we enjoy it a lot.

We don't need any sports equipment, we just need a long line, for example the division line in a sports court.

"The Spider" is on the line and the others children are inside the area. "The Spider" has to say a friend's name, and this child has to run and try not to be touched by "The Spider". If they cross the line they will be able to go to the other area, but if they are touched by "The Spider" they will become a new spider.

The game is over when everybody is a spider. If someone needs help you can say "Battalion", and in this moment all your friends will run at the same time.

Esta semana hemos jugado al juego "The Spider" con nuestros niños de primero. Este es uno de nuestros juegos favoritos ya que disfrutamos mucho con él. No necesitamos ningún tipo de material deportivo, solo necesitamos una línea larga, como por ejemplo la línea divisoria de una pista deportiva.

"The Spider" está en la línea y los otros niños están dentro del area. "The Spider" tiene que decir el nombre de un amigo, y este niño tiene que correr e intentar no ser tocado por "The Spider". Si cruzan la línea pueden ir hacia el otro área, pero sin son tocados se convertirán en una nueva araña.

El juego finaliza cuando todo el mundo es una araña. Si alguien necesita ayuda  puedes decir "BATALION", y en ese momento todos tus amigos correrán al mismo tiempo.
